The tour to Sirena (Corcovado National Park) is a full day tour that will take you to the most remote station of the Corcovado National Park, Sirena Station, located in the Heart of the National Park. The station can only be reached by boat from Drake in a trip of approximately 1 hour, or walking on long crossings, either along the coast from Carate (7 hours) or crossing the entire jungle from the Los Patos sector on a trek. approximately 12 hours. We operate the Tour departing from Drake Bay by boat. The tour departs early in the morning, sailing parallel to the coast. During the trip you can appreciate the incredible nature, including the Caño Island in the distance, the jungles that cover the entire Osa Peninsula, and beautiful places such as Rio Claro, San Josecito, Las Caletas, Punta Marenco, Punta Llorona.
Finally, after 1 hour you get to Sirena. Once on the mainland, the guide will decide which path to follow, always trying to see as many species of flora and fauna. You will visit the wild Rio Sirena, where with luck you will be able to see crocodiles sharing the habitat with Toro sharks. During the 2 hours of walking, you can eventually see 4 species of monkeys, perhaps deer, pumas, coatis, raccoons, hundreds of birds, insects, snakes, reptiles and amphibians in general, and with luck perhaps also a Danta. The ecosystems in Sirena are also diverse and beautiful. There are wetlands and river mouths, primary rainforest, secondary tropical forest, beach and coastal areas. One of the favorite places to rest, after touring the jungle is the mouth of the Rio Claro, where you can enjoy the crystal clear waters of the river with views of the sea. Once finished, you will enjoy a delicious "adventure" type lunch either in the park, or somewhere, back to the Hotel. The tour includes guide, snorkeling equipment and lunch.
