Diving around Caño Island is excellent. Next to the Murciélago Islands, in the North Pacific, Caño Island is the best dive site in Costa Rica, after Isla del Coco. Normally it offers excellent visibility, which obviously can vary depending on climatic factors, such as winds, tides, currents and precipitation. Another attraction of diving Caño Island is the amount of fauna that you can get to find. Because it is a protected area, there is no mass fishing, which is prohibited by law, therefore, you can see many species of fish and marine animals, some rare to see, and also abundant and healthy schools. Another attraction is that you can see large species of marine fauna, such as white tips, nurse sharks, occasionally bull sharks, various species of blankets, moray eels, sea turtles of various types as well as dolphins occasionally. The marine topography is varied and abundant, with many caves and rocky pinnacles in the different points that are visited. We offer the tour of 2 tanks to the island, which can leave in the morning and also in the afternoon. Customers are collected at the different hotels in the Bahia Drake area and the coast between Bahia Drake and Corcovado National Park.
