Our ecological lodge is beachfront, providing a spectacular panoramic view overlooking the Pacific Ocean, and this might be the reason why our guests have expressed that “this is like being in paradise”. All activities within La Leona Eco Lodge Corcovado, Costa Rica are directed towards the care of the environment and thus are highly committed to conservation, recycling and to the protection of resources and animals.

The design of the rooms (tents-cabins) allows the visitor to enjoy from his deck the scenic beauty of this remote place, to feel the refreshing ocean breeze, contemplate a romantic and colorful sunset or simply feel the magic of being surrounded by a tropical rainforest with all its aromas and sounds, which definitely will take him to Paradise. You will be sleeping in secure and clean tents in front the beach.

Your total comfort is our priority. Each tent is tastefully arranged overlooking the blue Pacific Ocean.

Strategically positioned to provide privacy. We have 16 tents at this time. 6 of them have an adjacent gorgeous outside garden bathroom. 12 of them can fit a couple in a double bed to 3 in separate twin size beds. 4 are small fitting 1 or 2 in twin size beds.

These share an outside bathroom house with 4 showers and 4 toilets. Spacious front porches fit a couple of armchairs to provide you with a spectacular view of the ocean or simply sipping a glass of wine while watching the night sky. All the Tents have insect proof screening.

Our restaurant “Jardines del Mar” is strategically located facing the Pacific Ocean, where our guests can taste a great variety of traditional Costa Rican and international cuisine, while they enjoy and refresh themselves with each wave that breaks on the beach with its melodious rhythm and refreshing foam. A truly beautiful and unique sight for each one of our guests.

Each plate prepared at La Leona’s “Jardines del Mar” restaurant carries that special touch given by our young and local cooks, who have carefully prepared themselves to satisfy our guests’ tastes.

We are located on an extension of 36.5 hectares of primary forest adjacent to Corcovado National Park. For us at La Leona Eco Lodge it is a privilege to have a tropical rainforest reserve, which we feel committed to preserve for the benefit of our future generations.

At La Leona Eco Lodge reserve, a dense and evergreen forest, in its natural state, and untouched by man, we have the opportunity of observing ferns, parasitic plants, palms, herbs, epiphytes, lianas, shrubs and the lush trees of the primary forest, such as: ajos, cedars, ficuses, surá. These are just a few of the silent witnesses that inhabit this reserve, in addition to the same variety and abundance of wildlife in Parque Nacional Corcovado: black howler monkeys, capuchin monkeys, spider monkeys, coatis, wild hogs, jaguarundi, toucans, macaws, ant-eaters, to name only a few of the many species of animals and birds which live on the La Leona Eco Lodge reserve
