Mirador
Lodge
Corcovado,
Osa Peninsula - Costa Rica
Cabinas El Mirador
Lodge is situated on a hill overlooking
Drake's Bay on the Osa Peninsula
of the Pacific Coast of Southern
Costa Rica. Because it is off
the beaten path, Drake's Bay has
managed to preserve much of the
pure, natural charm of its pristine
beaches and lush jungles, teeming
with wildlife and vegetation.
Drake's Bay is conveniently situated
on the border of Corcovado National
Park and only 12 miles west of
the Isla del Caño, one
of the best spots for diving and
snorkeling in the region. Drake's
Bay was named after the legendary
pirate Sir Francis Drake as history
tells us that Drake spent time
in the bay and possibly even buried
treasure here.
Mirador Lodge
is located exactly in Drake Bay
close to the town of Agujitas.
It is on top
of a hill, which permits an amazing
view from its facilities, in front
of the beach and on the road,
great strategic spot for the beach
enjoy and tour starting point.
You can get to Agujitas “Downtown”
in minutes just waling what permits
freedom of walking around and
buying certain emergency grocery
or snack.

There are several
ways to get to Drake Bay:

Public bus:
There is a bus
that departs form San José
to Palmar at 5:00am. You need
to buy the tickets before because
there is the risk of not being
able to travel at all or having
to travel standing up for the
whole 6 hours trip. We would have

This bus coming from San José
passes by San Isidro for a short
stop at around 8:30am. Se detienen
