Caño Island Snorkeling Tour

The snorkeling tour to Isla del Caño is one of the best experiences for those who are lovers of marine life. The island is one of the sites that offer the best visibility in all of Costa Rica. You can see sharks, sea turtles, eels and hundreds of colorful fish species that have healthy populations around the rock reefs around the island. The tour leaves early in the morning and the trip to the island lasts 1 hour. During the tour, especially during the whale season, it is possible to see humpback whales, as well as dolphins and other marine creatures.

The time doing snorkeling is about 2 - 3 hours, with rest breaks on the island. The island is also a tropical paradise especially for flora. It is totally covered with tropical jungles and offers an imposing landscape. It was also an important archaeological site, and one of the places where the mysterious stone spheres of the ancient indigenous inhabitants of the area have been found. After lunch, around 1 PM, the return to the mainland begins, arriving at the Hotel again around 2 - 3 PM. The tour includes guide, snorkeling equipment and lunch.
