San Pedrillo Tour

The eco adventure tour to Corcovado National Park San Pedrillo Station is the most popular tour we sell in the area. The San Pedrillo station is the northern entrance to the National Park, which has 4 official entrances. San Pedrillo is located around 30 minutes south of Drake Bay by boat. The tour departs early in the morning from the hotel, and during the boat trip you can admire the beautiful coast of Osa, passing by places like Las Caletas, San Josecito and Punta Marenco until finally arriving at the park entrance. Once there, you disembark and you start with the guided walk along the trails of the national park. During the trek, diverse ecosystems, rivers, tropical jungles, open fields and sites with wetlands are traversed.

Some species of fauna that can be seen during the trek include three types of monkeys (maybe 4), many species of birds, coatis, raccoons, perhaps even a small feline such as the ocelot, or hopefully a puma, perhaps a danta, species of reptiles and insects. There are several trails in the area, the guide will choose the path according to the best chance to see fauna and flora. The tour also includes a picnic-type lunch in the park facilities or perhaps in San Josecito. Once the exploration of the park is completed, we will proceed to return to the Hotel. The estimated arrival time is around 2 - 3 PM. The tour includes guide, snorkeling equipment and lunch.
