Whale Watching

The Corcovado area (Osa Peninsula and Coronado Bay) is one of the best areas to see whales in Costa Rica. The most popular species is the humpback whale, however, there are also other species of whales, such as Orcas, False Orcas, Pilot Whales, as well as various species of dolphins, some residents and some migratory. Our tour goes in search of the whales, dolphins and any other marine creature that we might find on the way.

There are laws, which we respect, that prevent getting too close to the whales, so as not to affect their performance. The whales come to give birth to their offspring and reside for about 3 months in the warm waters of the area. They come from North America and also from the cold water coast of South America. The tour includes naturalist guide.
