Playa San Josecito

San Josecito Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches of the Osa Peninsula, and the area of Drake Bay. It is a long sandy beach, wild and with abundant nature. The beach has a gentle swell due to small islands that serve as natural breakwater. At low tide you can enjoy the natural pools that form. The ends of the beach have rock formations. Punta San José is at the north end of the beach.

The beach is of great scenic beauty given its proximity to the National Park of Corcovado. It practically remains unchanged. Only one of the Lodges we use is in San Josecito. It is a paradisiacal area, recommended for sunbathing, beach, sea, camping, hiking, sea kayaking and nature lovers. It is perfect for bathing and diving.
